If a source openly acknowledges these factors and backs claims with transparent data, its objectivity stays strong. If it withholds disclosures or cherry-picks evidence to push a particular stance, objectivity is compromised.

Relevancy, currency, and authority touch different aspects of credibility. Relevancy asks whether the information connects to your topic, currency checks how up-to-date the material is, and authority concerns the author’s expertise. But even a highly credible expert can present biased material; objectivity specifically focuses on the absence of bias and conflicts of interest.
